PROPAGATION HOUSE// Research Into Gig Posters

 I am planning on starting this project back up with a host of new identities for Mark at Propagation House. The idea is to get a feeling for the type of music that Mark records in a visual style that is very unique to the genre.

The studio mainly records rock music and folk music so I have been trying to find examples of gig posters which relate to that world. These are a collection of older ones that I have been looking at in our library, featuring the Stones, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam and Led Zep.

What I am most interested in here is the use of colour and type. Elements I can take from these posters and apply to a design style for the new logos.
