Believe it on not I'm not trying to be offensive with this. I just wanted to take a stupid headline and exaggerate how bad our hunger for freakshow entertainment is in a funny way.The title of the story is from a Jerry Springer Show where this actually happens. The idea here is for the Dialogue exhibition the idea would get people taking about tabloid press or any other strange and kind of pointless/ waste of time stories that we sometimes engage with.
The idea of the Spaceman getting the important earth message is partly to make the whole situation seem ridiculous, but to also balance the title of the story with something way at the other end of the scale, at least in my opinion.
