This has been a massive learning curve for me, but as the same time after effects has been surprisingly easy to pick up to the point that it hasn't taken me ling at all to finish the website animation portion of the video. This will be edited again and again due to the timings of the voice-over, which have to come first in terms of fluidity. We will then have to probably edit this again to fit it in with the rest of the video. Most importantly the mouse has to work in time with the voiceover, clicking on icons and buttons as we talk trough the site, so I will defineltly be working some more on this before it is 'finished'.
But, this is the final edition of how the website will work and all of the animation is there, only the timings will be changed now.
This is the moment that the voiceover will introduce the Manifesto page, the mouse moves up to the corresponding item in the navigation bar and clicks, altering the colour of the button to green and smooth-scrolling the page down to the second section...
... landing here, where the viewer can read the manifesto, the mouse then scrolls over to the 'Pledge' menu button and clicks scrolling the page down to the pledge system. In these screens the animation is seen on the left and the time-line and movements appear on the right.
Here the mouse continues to scroll down the page to the four pledge options and move across the screen clicking on three of the four pledge options to illustrate the choice that the user will have in the real website.
The mouse then scrolls down the the delivery options which appear when users sign up to a pledge and wish to receive the print version of the priority pack. It runs over the options and clicks on the 'Confirm' icon, a kick bot extends from its side to confirm that it has been selected.
The mouse then clicks on the 'Maps' tab in the nav bar and the page auto-scrolls down to this page, where the viewer can see the maps section. The mouse continues to run over the options on the page and then over a specific region of the map, clicking, which brings up more details about that specific region as a little pop up window seen here.
The mouse then hovers and clicks on the 'About' tab which scrolls the user down to the about page, which is full of 'history' of the priority earth campaign and and 'post word by Al Gore' which we have entirely made up....
After spending a short time here the mouse scrolls down to the bottom of the page to see the footer. It then runs over to the 'Forum' tab in the Nav bar and clicks...
... this page then slides in from the right giving the viewer the options to sign into the forum. This completes the animation tour of the Priority: Earth website.
