Today we printed our prototype for the first formal crit of our work. This involved putting together a crude copy of the paper followed by setting up a crit with willing participants. We printed the paper fairly well on an off white library stock with the studio laser printer, this gave us a fairly decent representation of what the paper could look like, however we did have to tape the pages together to get the correct A2 double page spreads. The prototype is great for spotting major and minor problems with the newspaper, at first glance and with close inspection. Each section of the paper is represented at the moment although we plan on adding further information as we continue. I will post the results of the crit at a later time.
