WPP// Priority: Earth Poster Design 2

Simon and I have been working on the poster some more and have decided to come up with a short statement about the campaign and directions to the viewer as to how to continue. We have also come up with a mission statement and a manifesto. For now the text on the poster is as follows:

'Lets turn our knowledge into action. We need to mobilise people at all levels to put a price on carbon in the economy and a price on denial in politics. Visit priorityearth.com and pledge you part in this new global campaign.
We have pinpointed four key areas where attitudes towards the destruction of our climate can be confronted; Government, Politics, Business and You. It all starts with you pledging to help. You will receive a tailored priority pack based on your personal pledge to earth full of information and advice, and will be able to view world maps of what other priority: earth supporters are doing globally.'

Along with this new statement we have developed four key areas that people can engage with the champaign in. These are Government, Politics, Business and You. I will explain more of these in another post. We have developed four icons that will flow through the website, publications and poster for each of these key areas.

The following images are of some poster development with the final image being our final design, destined to be screen printed as soon as possible. We have chosen these new colours because of limitations to the thermochromic inks. They are fairly transparent so dark colours behind them will wash them out. Also, the colour we have gone for, orange, is the closest we can get to red of we want the ink to totally disappear and not just change colour.
