WPP// Priority Earth Map Page

I got started on the 'website' today. From planing this out the aim here is to develop a short video which will be a run down of the campaign and what it aims to achieve. So the website we build will actually be an illustrator file which we will animate in after effects. It will appear to operate like a website however we will not actually be building it.

To start the site I have chosen to put together a single page as a demonstration and work backwards from there. This will be the map page. Its purpose is to display all of the other people who are 'pledging' to help with the campaign all over the world with graphs on what sort of activities they are planning on getting involved with. The aim of this is to illustrate to other viewers that they are not alone in this struggle against climate change and that this is a global movement with many participants.

This early version of the site has the navigation bar along the top of the page. On the maps page here you would select the region of zone you would like to see more information on or click directly on the map. The colour co-ordinated icons on the right had side would allow users to review more information on specific 'key areas' in more detail.

This is much closer to how I would like the final site to appear. Nice simple layout with clear colours and an interactive layout. The nav bar will run down the left had side leaving the rest of the page to contain interactive options and information. The title Priority Earth will be in a fixed position so the title is always visible.
