With a few exceptions I have mostly completed the first stage of the process of creating these characters. At this point I am happy with the overall shape of each character, work still needs to be done on the weights of each individual letter and marks and notches that plague the outlines. Saying this the characters need to remain slightly 'notched' as to give off a more hand-penned appearance. On another note testing the type out with a few basic sentences gives the impression that the weights of all characters has to be increased which I feel would give the whole set more impact and presence. This means I will have to resize everything.
